Rehome a Rescue Cat!
At That Cat Lady, we love all cats and one of our aims is to support rehoming efforts for the thousands of rescue cats in foster homes and shelters around Australia. There are many wonderful organisations working to foster and adopt rescue cats and we are so grateful for their efforts. The search for a rescue cat can be quite daunting though, as there are over 1,000 rescue organisations, vet clinics, shelters and pounds holding cats in need.
If you've decided you are ready to adopt and give a loving home to a cat but not sure where to start, try searching the Pet Rescue database, check with your local vets and pounds, visit the Cat Protection Society, or explore the RSPCA's Adopt A Pet and its many adoption centres. Here are some other organisations we support, and this list will continue to grow as we learn more.
